Residential Leisure Groups & Tours

Churchill College is an ideal base for groups wishing to visit both the historic city of Cambridge as well as neighbouring attractions in the local area.

Our accessible location in the north west of the city, with easy parking for coaches and excellent road connections to the A14 and M11, enable tours to combine city centre visits with trips to nearby Madingley, Duxford and Newmarket.

We are delighted to welcome leisure groups during College vacations, especially in August when accommodation at the best possible rates is available.

Some examples of themed tours include:

• Combining a presentation from the Churchill Archive Centre with a trip to the Imperial War and American Air Museums at Duxford, and a visit to the American Cemetery and Memorial at Madingley.
• The National Horse Racing Museum at Newmarket can be combined with a day at the races.
• Horticulturalists and naturalists will be fascinated by the University Botanical Garden followed by a trip to Wicken Fen.
