Groups and Tours

Churchill College is an ideal base for groups wishing to visit both the historic city of Cambridge as well as the many attractions in the surrounding area.

Our accessible location in the north-west of the city has excellent road connections to the A14 and M11, enabling tours to combine city centre visits with trips to nearby Madingley, Duxford and Newmarket. We have approximately 100 car parking spaces on site, with facilities for coach parking close by.

We are delighted to welcome leisure groups during College vacations, especially in August when accommodation is available at the best possible rates.

Some examples of themed tours include:

• Combining a presentation from the Churchill Archive Centre with a trip to the Imperial War and American Air Museums at Duxford, and a visit to the American Cemetery and Memorial at Madingley.
• The National Horse Racing Museum at Newmarket can be combined with a day at the races.
• Horticulturalists and naturalists will be fascinated by the University Botanical Garden followed by a trip to Wicken Fen.
